About Dr. Tayyab Mohyuddin :
Dr. Tayyab Mohyuddin is a US-trained Consultant Interventional Cardiologist. He graduated with honours from King Edward Medical College and completed his Internal Medicine residency at Case Western Reserve University (MetroHealth), Cleveland, Ohio, USA. He pursued advanced training at the University of Texas, Houston, completing fellowships in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology. His interventional training was under Dr. Richard Smalling, a nationally renowned expert, and he trained in cardiac nuclear imaging with Dr. K. Lance Gould, the pioneer of the technology.
He holds five American board certifications in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology. His academic appointments include Assistant Professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, and a current Clinical Assistant Professor position at the University of Texas at Houston. He has an active research profile with multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals.
After several years of clinical practice in the USA, Dr. Mohyuddin returned to Lahore. He currently serves as Consultant Cardiologist at National Hospital & Medical Center, DHA, Lahore, providing comprehensive general cardiology care along with coronary and peripheral interventions. He is also Associate Professor of Cardiology at Central Park Medical College, Lahore, where he is actively involved in postgraduate and undergraduate medical education.
