About Prof. Dr. Muhammad Rafiq Zaki:

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Rafique, a graduate of Nishtar Medical University, Multan, completed his postgraduate training in Lahore and a Diploma in Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) from France.

He is a pioneer in vascular access, laser prostate surgery, endoscopic stone surgery (PCNL/RIRS), and renal transplantation in Pakistan. His special interests include renal transplantation, endourology, uro-oncology, uro-gynaecology, and male infertility.

He is Director of the Sharif Institute of Urology and Renal Transplant (SIURT), Lahore, and Visiting Consultant at National Hospital & Medical Centre, DHA, Lahore Cantt. He focuses on expanding advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery, with particular emphasis on kidney transplantation, transplant immunology, and long-term allograft care.
